Octo Meme

Yes, for those of you who read The Lumberjack's Wife, I stole this from her today. But it's ok...she said to =) I've decided I need to blog more and this seemed like a good way to have a post that has to do with something other than baby stuff!

8 Things I'm Looking Forward To:
  1. Getting to meet Little Miss LG
  2. The end of summer. Yes, already. It's hot and the kiddos are bored.
  3. The mail arriving. This is pretty much a daily thing because I'm getting lots of fun stuff =)
  4. The end of July when people run out of fireworks to set off at midnight.
  5. The day when I can sleep on my stomach. Or back. Or anyway that doesn't kill my hips.
  6. The day I don't have swollen fingers or toes.
  7. The day when I can walk more than 10 feet without getting a fake contraction.
  8. The day I can cook something on the stove without the fear of setting my belly on fire.
8 Things I did yesterday (This should be exciting):
  1. Did some laundry
  2. Rested
  3. Cleaned the bathroom
  4. Rested
  5. Made lunch
  6. Rested
  7. Hung out outside with the kiddos
  8. Rested while my husband made dinner =)
8 Things I wish I could do:
  1. Breathe
  2. Lean forward
  3. Lay on my stomach
  4. Lay on my back
  5. Walk more than 10 feet without getting a fake contraction (any of this ringing a bell?)
  6. Walk up stairs without loosing my breath
  7. Sleep through the night (ha! So not happening anytime soon)
  8. Win the lottery
8 Shows I enjoy:
  1. Lost. Well, up until the last season at least.
  2. Fringe
  3. 24
  4. Um...
  5. Still thinking...
  6. Duh...
  7. Isn't this an exciting one?
  8. Those are really the only shows we watch...and 2 of them ended so now we're down to 1.
Now, doesn't your day feel complete?

All of this shall pass away! You may even have lots of times in your later years that you can sleep on your stomach and through the night! And breathing will return soon after Miss Lydia enters the world!
I am glad you have the mail to look forward to. I remember when that was one of the most exciting parts of my day, and I put my makeup on before I went to the mailbox... sad isn't it..
