Conversations with K-Lou: A 10 year old

Normally K-Lou doesn't give me many opportunities to make fun of her share funny stories, but we had a conversation the other night at dinner I wanted to share. It went something like this:

Daniel: K-Lou said she's going to buy us a 6 bedroom house.

Me: Well I guess we'd better get adopting some kids to fill it up.

K-Lou: We're going to adopt?!

Daniel: It's something we'd like to do someday when we can save up some money, it's kind of expensive.

K-Lou: Can we adopt someone who's between MZ and me? (referring to age)

Me: Well, there are a lot of older kids who need homes and it usually costs less.

K-Lou: Let's buy a 10 year old!
